Guest Lecture at UOIT

Hello all,

I had the great opportunity of being invited to give a guest lecture at UOIT on DevOps and Cloud Computing.

It was an amazing experience going back to University after 5 years and giving a lecture to the 4th year Software Engineering class, just a few years ago I was sitting in their seats.

 

I covered all the major Public Cloud providers and I was very glad to see that a lot f the student work is being done on Azure and there is a lot of interest in it. From past experience, AWS was always a student favorite.

My presentation is attached below. I also did a quick demo where I wrote a simple ARM template with a few VMs and deployed to Azure.
